Roaster 'Good' Chicken

This recipe cooks for awhile in the oven, but you can prepare it in 5 minutes. It's great for the working girl who has things to do before her family sits down to eat. It's also good to make and give to a friend who could use a little help, perhaps after a baby or just home from the hospital.

Add a salad and some bread, and you're all set. The chicken goes a long way, and you have tasty rice in the same pan.

Ingredients:
1 c. long grain rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
6 chicken breasts
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
3 c. water
handful of parsley
salt and pepper to taste

In large covered roaster, add 1 c. of rice on the bottom. Lay raw chicken pieces on top of uncooked rice. Sprinkle onion soup mix over chicken. Add soups and salt and pepper. Pour water over all. Sprinkle on parsley. Baked covered for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Uncover and bake another hour or until chicken in tender.
