For my Birthday this year, instead of a cakey Birthday cake, I wanted a fruit pizza. It was something that I remember my Mom making for parties as I was growing up. We made it this past weekend, but one of the ingredients, Le Creme, made my Cool Whip, was a product that is no longer available. Instead, we decided to use extra creamy whipped cream, and it worked just as well. We also video-taped it with step-by-step instructions...see below.
Once cool, frost your cake. You'll fold the cool whip and sour cream together for the frosting. Once frosted, arrange fruit on top in a pretty pattern. Serve immediately or refrigerate. Cut into wedges for serving.
Ingredients:
1 (17 oz.) Pillsbury slice-and-bake refrigerated sugar cookie dough
2 c. thawed extra-creamy whipped topping
1 c. sour cream
fruit to top (I like kiwi, strawberries and any sort of other berry)
Set your oven to 375 degrees. Line a pizza pan with tin foil, and slice the cookie dough. Arrange dough slices, slightly overlapping on the pan, pressing to seal. Bake the cookie dough for 10-12 mins. or until golden brown. Cool before frosting.

Thanks for posting this! I'm going to try it for a pot luck tomorrow! :)
